I think we lost two VERY winnable games this year and never competed to our ability on Jan. 9 last year. Looks like more our doing than Birminghams.

Well, of course, if you win every game, you win the championship.

You have an incredible grasp of the obvious.

That doesn't mean you have to face more obstacles than everyone else in doing so.

If LSU having to face South Carolina at home and Florida on the road this year, Georgia on the road and Florida at home next year, while Alabama goes to Missouri and Tennessee this year, at Kentucky and Tennessee at home next year, doesn't bother you, then you have no sense of fairness or justice.

All of this, on the heels of being forced to beat Alabama twice to win the championship last year.

No team in the history of college football has won a championship by beating a team they previously defeated in that same season. In fact, the six times it has happened, the loser of the first meeting has won the second meeting by 10 or more points.

But, you're OK with this, too. Would you shake hands with the guy that sleeps with your wife, too? You seem like a really nice guy that works for the man. Hard worker who doesn't ask any questions. Sits in someone's back pocket and eats farts til you get old enough for real shite.

Actually head of a multimillion dollar enterprie with a large 6 figure salary but thanks for asking. I recall us beating GA twice in 2003 to earn a championship. I think if we win last Jan 9 and beat Bama this year your pissing and moaning over the schedule would be none existent, just saying. It's all good. Everday from here on out is lagniappe if you go by the Mayan set if rules.

doesnt change the facts that we lost to alabama January 9, florida in october and alabama again in november. we were lucky to beat arkansas and ole miss...... lsu has to play alabama every year, regardless of who else we play. we win that one, we get to go to sec championship and major bowl. doesnt matter who else they beat, or who else we beat, it is winner take all-each and every time we play them (even if we have to play twice in one season). they won the last 2- we didnt. people said the same things when Bear Bryant coached and they beat us year in and out.

Please tell me this is a joke?

First of all, wins and losses matter within the SEC, regardless of opponent. And they count the same.

Secondly, winner takes all, unless we have to play them again? Are you serious?

Please don't hurt yourself, but read your post out loud and think about what you're saying.

SEC championships are nice, and we got one in '03, as well as last year.

But, as your 6 figure salary self has already figured out, I'm referring to national championships.

And, if it makes you feel any better, you're not wasting your time replying to someone beneath you come tax time.

I may be wrong, but I believe that Jan 9 was the second game against Alabama, and I believe winner took all. I also believe that over the past 25 years, every time we beat Alabama-we were rewarded with a better bowl game......and i believe this only about Alabama because they and LSU are the two premier teams in the conference......and the conference is the premier conference in the country.

six figures- im sorry, did you have a bad year?

You are.

Winner take all every time we play them is what you said.

So, how do you explain the first game?

LSU and Alabama have been the premier teams in the division since '08.

It was LSU and Auburn prior to that.

Auburn beat Alabama six straight times, duh.

Well glad to see we are both in that evil rich man club!! NC or SEC championship, it is the same premise. Had to beat the same team twice to finish atop the mountain both years.

You're probably right.

It's all relative.

I think you are beginning to understand how this works....
LSU basically says "to hell with you season ticket holders and the B.R. business community" which has supported the football program for DECADES ! We're taking the money grab games EVERY single chance we get....ya'll idiots can suck it !
This won't change until the season ticket holders protest with their wallets and/or the business community begins to complain and exert some pressure !

Pal...READ his posts...the "bridge schedule" inequities of 2013/2014 are REAL...NOT imagined ! Not even going to get into the details of WHO chaired the scheduling commitee, who's in charge of the refs, how many alums from certain schools populate the SEC office... I could go on adnauseum about our non-bias staff in the SEC B'HAM office.

One first down from playing ND in Miami, and we're now the equivalent of a 7-5 team that gave up 50+ points to 4 teams in '08.

Yes and that is why Alabama plays the easy schedule. Two more tough games and losing one of them makes a big difference in where you end up.

This statement is true and the reason Bamers are getting their third opportunity in four years to play in the BCSCG. LSU beat Bama in their own stadium and Bamers were still given a mulligan. SEC sucks and is full of Bama grads screwing LSU. The Executive Associate Commissioner, responsible for football scheduling, the SEC Director of Football Officiating, and most office support are Bama grads. LSU will continued getting the screw job as long as our Athletics Director and President allow it.
