We watched the first half from our seats and the second half from under the ramp where we could see the field and the screen and were shielded from the rain. It was an exciting game, especially at the end, but by that time there were very few of us left in the stadium.

I did. I know this sounds stupid but I’m going to post it anyway. I felt like the fans in the stands were similar to the players on the field. We stuck it out through the rough times and the rain just like they did all season. I was soaking wet but I saw a great game in person and know the exact conditions that game was played in.
I won’t forget that one. It was similar to the Oregon state game 15 or so years ago.

Yes. I was lucky that seats were under south upper deck. Only got wet shoes and pants walking back to car after game.

I stayed the whole time and stayed somewhat dry the whole game until Boutte scored his last TD... that’s when I ripped off my poncho while celebrating. Totally worth the long, soaked walk back to the car.

I did too. I was dry except for my feet. I almost left at the end of the 3rd quarter because my feet were wet and cold and I'm not young anymore, but I found a ramp for a few minutes too and stuck it out.
Left BR at 7am this morning and it was a delightful drive back to Houston.
