The bad part about all this is that once we win the MNC, we can say bye-bye to Chavis just like did with Bo.
Not at all. Chavis would have been a head coach by now if he wasn't going to be one. He's as loyal as they come.

Chavis isn't going anywhere until he retires.

chavis. and i got laughed at during the offseason for saying this.
People wanted bos head in 05 after some rough games. as a whole are defense has been overall better with chavis.
we had some rough games, but look back through pelinis 3 years and compare to chavis 3 years.
For the saban lovers, pelini had sabans players and did worse.

Watch Saturday & tell us after the game. Book It! This D is not going to miss a beat!
Well maybe this Saturday might not be a good example with 2 starters suspended on the DB position.

Hard to really compare. Pellini never had the quality assistant coaches on the defensive sides of the ball that Chavis has had save Karl Dunbar in 2005.
Pellini and Mallory were mediocre position coaches and no where near the quality of Cooper and Haley. Also, Lane was a horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE OL coach.

Pelini is way overrated.
I believe his scheme/game plan lost the 07 UK game.

Pelini has had a higher rated defense(scoring and total) every year but his first year at Nebraska.

Are you kidding me?
Have you been watching the games?
Chavis by a mile.
Long live the Chief!
