Football is king at LSU. Recruiting, spring practice/game, and the actual season gets more coverage than basketball. Football at LSU is more successful than basketball. We are in the middle of football season.

I hope this is a joke.
They spent a great deal of time discussing the basketball team -- he expressed an opinion. He felt that there were too many unknowns on this team to say they would win a championship, etc.
With the name-calling and beating a dead horse, it seems you must have a personal issue with Hanagriff that isn't appropriate for the Rant.

That's possible. But is Hanagriff paid to provide fair media attention, or proportionate media attention?

I'll have to admit this is a possibility. JJ might be favoring Jordy H since they are brothers of same the court. Its a possibility, likely not a probability, Jones wants more fans in the seats and rock-in like the old days.
When the LSU Pmach was rocki-in, its was just as exciting as LSU football.

No, I actually like Charles, at least I did. But you turned me by the way you came to his defense instead of defending LSU basketball, when he clearly fricked up. Likely not your intentions, but you did Charles more harm than good.

I merely defended my position. What I find inappropriate on the rant is implying to LSU players that they need to transfer.
Back to the subject, Charles is hhmmm, a big boy, he can defend his position on the radio, he doesn't need you!

I didn't start this ugly food fight, in the beginning it was mainly my feelings about LSU basketball and someone's lack of. I simply wanted this person to defend his position, not you!
Do you think some of you defending a member of the sports media who clearly made a mistake and if not so clearly has an avenue to defend himself, was the appropriate way? No, Moron!

They out rebounded many of them, the only times they didn't were in games where they were blown out or they blew the opponent out. Their rebounding wasn't their weakness last year. You don't rank 10th in rebounding in the NCAA and look back thinking that's what held them back. How about their field goal percentage or points allowed those were pretty big problems.

Just answer this, when was the last time someone in B.R. sports media had no opinion about LSU's upcoming wins or losses in F.B., basketball or baseball? Not a trick question.
Charles is to be commended for being vocal about what fans expect in LSU sports, we need that. For the most part enjoyed him not being just a cheerleader. But when he slips up or somewhat snubs a program we care dearly about, fans should be able to recognize that too. But some here are just too anal to speak honestly.
Tigers will make the NCAA tournament this year, I'm sure Charles will finally have an opinion when they do.
