LSU is playing with a line that averages sophomore and 3.5 stars. Their best running back is a 3* sophomore taken due to misses elsewhere.

Zero points against Bama IS a Talent issue. But experience is the biggest issue. And lack of creativity in playcalling is least important of the three.

Anyone think we get shutout if our line is Sr, Jr, Sr, Sr, Sr instead of So, Sr, So, Jr, So?

You're saying LSU has the talent to beat UGA, Auburn and Miss State's defenses, but Ensminger hasn't had the talent to score one point on Bama in 8 straight quarters in Tiger Stadium? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

You're saying LSU has an offensive coordinator that can outperform all coordinators these teams (Georgia, Miss. State, Miami) have played, but it's all his fault that the team doesn't score on Alabama? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

It's been 8 straight quarters with 2 completely different sets of talent, all in Tiger Stadium. It's not an accident. I think he can be better. I don't think firing E is the best thing to do because you can't just keep firing your OC after every year. If Orgeron can line up a slam dunk OF, I'm all for it, but I'm not in the group of people that wants to fire him now without even letting the season play out.

All time QB leader in SEC rushing history?

His passing has exploded in the last couple of games?

When Fitz passing game is on, that offense is deadly.

And I'm not saying Ensminger is an offensive wizard and everyone needs to leave him alone. I'm saying LSU 2018 offense vs Alabama 2018 defense was stacked heavily against him.

Could Baby Briles take our sub-4* sophomore line with 3* sophomore back and bunch holes in the Bama defense? Maybe. I'm not against finding out.

Everyone just needs to acknowledge/understand that we are still very young and inexperienced on offense. Next years offense will be far superior to this years, regardless of who runs it.

I’d see your point if the shutout was an outlier. But it’s not. It’s completely consistent with what happens when LSU plays Bama this past decade. Even when LSU had great talent. So if the only way to score on Bama is to outrecruit them, then LSU can just forfeit now bc Bama rules recruiting.

Since 2011, Bama hasn’t lost much. But teams that have won or at least had offensive success, did not run an LSU offense.

I do think E tried what he could and was less conservative than the later Les offenses, and better talent is needed, but it’s still ridiculous to be totally shut out in two games.

And the offense will trend up for the foreseeable future when you start looking at who is waiting in the wings.

Let's just get this 10-2 this year,
11-1 next year, beat Bama in 2020, and yall stop trying to fire everybody all the time while this thing is trending up.

I wish! NOT gonna happen. Saban is the best at keeping a team focused and ready. Very few collegiate football coaches even come close to him as far as preparing a team.

Having said that......Go Bulldogs!

And there it is. How many next years do you give this staff? I haven’t advocated anyone being fired so don’t come back with some off-the-cuff answer. Just answer the question.

Let me add one more....

#11 Kentucky will go down to Tenn.

That is 7 out of the top 11 will lose today. I know, I know...I am 0 for 2 right now. But that just means many upsets later today!

The chaos is about to begin

I hate Oklahoma with the burning fire of a million suns... but they're going to absolutely steamroll Okie State. Gundy has been nowhere near any level of consistency this year.

...I hope I'm wrong.

...and we're going to slaughter Arky too.

It's really popular amongst the crying children to quote

quote:

next year

and say that's not soon enough. That this coach has 1 full recruiting class so obviously we need to see titles by now. So gahdam stupid.

We've got to sit here and deal with all you whining biches until LSU wins a title. Then back on the bandwagon you jump to cheer alongside the non-dumases that have the memory, patience, and foresight to see that the future is bright and much better than recent past.

If Les Miles was still coaching this team, they'd have gone 5-7 this season.

Just hush little children in the backseat. We aren't there yet. Have a warm milk and go back to sleep. We will wake you up when the adversity is completely removed from the situation so you may enjoy all the winning.
