Damn, I was trying to justify my hotel decision and you all went full retard in here.
Well, you asked one of the most un-answerable questions imaginable.

Barring a meltdown, this team hosts a regional.
I'd say they have a 75% chance to win a regional. I like this team's chances in a Super regional series. With Nola on the mound, I'd give a game 1 no less than 50% against any team in the country. Given that, let's also assume LSU has a 40% chance to win game 2 or 3.
I think all of these percentages are low, but I'm catering to the nega crowd.
These percentages put it at 15% of Omaha.

If it's any indication, I just saw Slim down on Florida Blvd. by the Greyhound station with a suitcase in his hand.

I got both ends of the spectrum. Some say they'd have a hard time beating a pee wee all-star team. Some say they are a near lock for a trip to Omaha.
Guess I'll rebook a first round game night and hope for the best.
Any good restaurants to check out? I need boiled crawfish badly!

I think LSU chances of getting to Omaha are less than 50% more around 30%.

So you are saying there's a chance

I love baseball. I love these kids. Unfortunately, I don't think our hitting is going to bring us to a super regional victory.
This team has done enough to garner a regional spot. Hosting a regional remains a likely outcome. A top eight national seed ? I don't think that will happen unless the team goes on a power surge and wins 7 or 8 more SEC games and then crushes Hoover !
Without a chance for home field through out the tourney and a lack of a third consistent starting pitcher, I just don't see it in the cards this season.

Yes, there are no restaurants serving boiled crawfish here in Denver.

quote:This here small ball offense doesn't have what it takes. CPM is a really good coach, but his recruiting philosophy is getting farther and farther away from our glory years. I hope they make it, because anyone can get hot when there and win it all. Just see UCLA last year. Just don't think this team has enough offense.
not good, this isn't a omaha caliber team from what i've seen
