Is Stud going to cook some BBQ along with Javi at the Recruiting Bash? These guys should quit and go on tour and do this for a living.

Hmmmmmmmmm

I don't want him to boot Stud. I just want Stud to go back to coaching the o-line. Unfortunately that means that he'd have to boot Krags. As cold as that sounds, I think that's what's best for the team. Whether that will happen is anybody's guess.

This is true.

Les obviously can be stubborn and arrogant. Whether or not it proves to be his undoing, we'll see.

Several people mentioned just demoting Stud back to OL coach.

Is that a legitimate possibility? I just don't see Stud taking that step back. Then again, I don't see Les changing anything because I really think that in his crazy arse mind the offense is fine.

that decision proved to be the big damn wrong one no matter what the reasons were.

I don't know if it's a realistic possibility or not. But it's what would be best, imo.

lol that decision gave us another year of terrible offense and hurt the 2010 team big time. i think everyone would have liked to have seen a change a year earlier.

this doesn't seem like something someone would do who makes changes when they need to be made.

2007 - National Championship
2008 - 31 ppg / 368 ypg
2009 - shite
2010 - last chance...shite...fired.

i think thats pretty much how most coaches in the country would've handled it.

other than mike shula i don't know any big job coach that would handle it that way, especially with an offense as bad as the 2009 version.
