You probably will not see a lot of repeats in a row because as we all know now it's a brand new game out there. Hard to know the roster anymore after one year. Money is the name of the game now. Not much loyalty to a team anymore. Tell me where the best offer is.

True…but how often do you have 13 players drafted from the previous baseball team? It was a special year with a crazy amount of experience. And guys like Hurd, Kling, Neal, Guidry, Bingham, Loer etc haven’t lived up to expectations.

Yeah, that's the glaring issue isn't it? Which suggests either poor talent evals or poor coaching and development.

There is no excuse to be a bottom of the barrel baseball team with the money and recruiting we have.

Money doesn’t solve everything. You’re incredibly naive if you believe that nonsense.

poor talent evals

The first four you mentioned were all Top 100 draft prospects by the baseball industry. You can call it poor evaluations but baseball is the hardest sport to project. MLB scouts miss all the time. It’s why half of first round picks never make it to the big leagues.

Bruh LSU was pre season Ranked #2 & #3 so getting back to Omaha was not so unrealistic. Winning it all is a different story.
