Had he signed a contract yet with the giants? Hopefully the nflpa will take care of him and his family for the rest of his life.

Depending on the wording, he might only get his signing bonus. Don't count on jack shite from the NFLPA.

Most of those policy's are only good up to the point where an athlete signs a pro contract.

The whole point in taking out one of those policies is to guard against a career-ending injury before they get to sign a contract.

I just hope Chad is alright, and will be able to play some professional sport.

it is extremely unlikely cj will be playing football again...this is tragic..sometimes i can't wrap my head around why such horrible things happen to good people...

I watched the CWS championship game earlier today from last year on my dvr. Jones was good coming out of the pen. Hope he makes a full recovery and pursue either football or baseball.
