Your view is helmet to helmet caused them to be dazed, I'm saying that their helmets didn't touch and am proving that heads don't need to hit to cause someone to be dazed. No big deal, I'm out. Good discussion anyway. Tigers win.

no, they dont, but his head was tucked, there was no way he got rocked by just the force of the hit. Its not like his head was dangling freely and he had some bad case of whiplash

he was down for almost a minute. He was dazed cause his head got rocked against the other player

Sure........Chad Jones was defending the North endzone........he came from the south and towards the east and the Mississippi River when making the blow........I'm not drunk Jersey but I like the fact that you like to point out bs like this in the discussion.

I jumped out of my chair when the hit occurred and LOVED it. Watching the game and not still pictures, I think the refs threw the flag due to Chad staying down. The flag came so late I think the refs saw Chad down and automatically assumed it was head to head. The flag came very, very late. It's all moot as LSU won.

No, I'm defending a perfectly legal and tactically precision football play........As I've shown above all players are coached this way........I just don't want #3's excellance to be pissed on by ranters........this was by far his best game of the season at his position.

This is what you said:

quote:

.When 1 man is running 18 mph going north and Chad Jones hits going southeast at the same speed

And it is incorrect. If the receiver is running north, then CJ came FROM the southeast and hit northwest.

No matter what else you have argued in this thread, CJ WAS NOT GOING SOUTHEAST.

It is immpossible for a football player not to make contact with another player without the head making first contact.........Unless the football player turns his face and inhibits himself from viewing the tackle he has to lead with his head.........the proper technique is to maintain visual with the facemask and helmet making contact with the outside shoulder or, ideally, the football. Do not try to dispute this as I've proven above the NFL and on down teach it this way.
