Thanks for the pics.

I don't think Chad will be replaced as easily as many think. He played well this yr and was only going to get better. The dude was a natural.

Chad gets a bad rap from some people because his "breakout year" was supposed to be '08. No one could have had a breakout year in that defense. Felt like this year he made some great stride and would have been an all SEC contender next year. May have a better pro career than college.

WOW- Can someone please tell me what is his legacy in a Tiger uniform? Besides name alone, did he live up to the hype?

Stripping ball from bama qb in 07
Pitching in CWS 09
Punt return MSU 09
Goal line stand MSU 09
cleaned clock of Ark wr 09 (not a helmet 2 helmet hit)
I could go on and on

sad to see him go bit happpy for him. I think he will go first round and have an excellent pro career

I can't recall seeing C. Jones beat deep too many times this year. Taylor and Hatcher on the other hand. He would have solidified the secondary next year. Hopefully he has a good NFL career.

+ 1....dude would have been a pre-season all American next year....I think he would have been a star next year...I think he had a great year and the scouts love those vicous hitting free safetys...Hope he pulls a lafell and comes back but I think he see us not having so great a year next year...

I know he said he talked with his family and coach Miles... He should have talked to Trev Faulk. Exact same situation- could have been an All- American on a strong D. I am surprised.

Not even close. Jones is much more talented than Faulk.

Jones could use another year to improve his draft stock, but he is talented enough to play in the NFL.

I didn't read all 10 pages, but since he is going into the NFL draft, he can't play baseball right?

This guy is the reason we beat Moo State and he makes plays all over the field. He will be sorely missed, but if his projected draft position is way up there, then we should understand. These kids have to strike while the iron is hot, because careers in the NFL are short on average and the money at stake is huge. Good luck Chad Jones.

Ran down McFadden from behind. I said: "Who the hell was that?"

i think he talked to C. Scott, B. lafell, c. black, saw how bradford and mccoy went down with serious injuries and figured staying wasn't worth that added risk.
