Do we honestly believe the committee will place a one loss Oregon Pac 12 Champ that beats one loss Utah in the CG in the playoff over one loss Alabama?

also.

If LSU finishes with one loss to one loss SEC champ Georgia, should that not still get in LSU and eliminate the Gumps?

Ill hang up and listen

Maybe so. Maybe not.

I absolutely believe that. Just look at the fact that they put UGA over Bama. It was about the "win" column more than the "Loss".

Well Utah is not undefeated so...

But yes. They poll shows us that they value quality wins with ranking Georgia ahead of them. All any other 1 loss team needs to do is add 1 or 2 quality wins and they should jump bama in the end. A conference championship game will certainly be a quality win in any power 5 conference.

To answer your question...yes.

A 1 loss Power 5 Champ will get in over a 1 loss Alabama because of their soft schedule.

LSU gets in. Our resume is too good. In this case Ohio State is 1. Clemson 2. Georgia 3. LSU 4.

I feel like the extra game that oregon will have and a conference championship will carry enough weight for them to jump BAMA

But, what scares me is when you look at the losses. Oregons one loss is against Auburn and BAMAs would be agains #1 LSU. Bama certainly would have the best loss

You are calling me ignorant, while trying to pass off your opinion as a fact.

If our only loss is in the SEC Championship we are in and if UGA has only one loss so are they.

Next question then :

Would you rather LSU lose the SEC to GA to eliminate BAMA and make the CFP as the 4 seed, or Win the SECCG and play Bama in the playoff, either the 1-4 first round or 1-3 Natty?

The real question is does a one loss LSU team who loses to UGA in the Conference championship get in over Oregon as a one loss Pac-10 champ?

Hot Take:

Barring Baylor or Minnesota going undefeated...

If Oregon and Utah both win out before meeting in PAC 12 Title game then I think the winner of that game gets in.

Committee reasoning:
Away Loss (Utah) > Neutral Site Loss (Oregon) > Home Loss (Bama)

1) LSU vs 4) Oregon/Utah
2) Ohio St vs 3) Clemson
