what the detractors are missing is that peterson is an absolute freak of nature. totally different class of player. when your offense is sputtering, why wouldn't you put in the freak?

Clips of Peterson playing offense will be all over the sports media and in every conversation the week following. Kind of like an LSU infomercial. This would be awesome for recruiting.

This would actually be a smart move especially in the light of the bad publicity LSU has gotten this past week.

Nothing would make me happier when it comes to LSU football than seeing Shep and/or Peterson take direct snaps.

All Miles wants to do is run the ball and is scared to let the ball fly into the air. Let your athletes take over games and dominate both sides of the ball by letting your best ones run it.

Peterson will definitely be a Heisman frontrunner if he scores a touchdown on offense

Everyone knows he needs to get some stats on O to have a legitimate shot. Everyone wins really, hes a freak of nature give him the ball and see what happens.

if he were to get one in a win over Bama or UF, they would call it his "Heisman Moment" guaranteed.

PP at QB running zone reads with Shep would be money.

If Lsu gets into a goal line situation give it to Peterson.

2 offensive TD's this year is what it would take to get him the trophy.

Hell, just having him in on 3-4 snaps in the game to shake things up would have Lsu all over sportscenter.

It would be a good PR move by les to get PP some snaps.

Well according to Les, the wildcat doesn't work without the threat of being able to throw the ball. Which is why he says Shep has not been used there yet, and JJ is used. I totally expect him to use PP in there.

Can he throw?
there are videos of him throwing TD passes in high school. if he runs a few times, any pass should be wide open after that

Who knows? He doesn't get to play enough imo.

PP7 in the Thundercat......takes the snap and pulls a Tebow duck and throw to a wide fricking open RR. Money.

Seriously, PP is used enough. I wouldn't want to see him fatigue too quickly or run an additional risk of losing him. RS is more than capable of field a dangerous Wild Cat.

Because we have such good play at the QB position, it doesn't make sense to have Shep play.

Shep is as good a running QB as PP is a cornerback, and Miles is a clown if he does not get Shep going in this offfense.

I agree.

Put Sheppard and Peterson in pistol or just Peterson in wildcat. Has to be better than our current offense.

If Peterson doesnt get some offenseive touches, he wont win the Heisman.
