Warning-this is a recording from Jacques Doucet's Facebook page. It does not sound to be a big deal to CEO. He said on Saturday when they got there, it was fine, but a little stuffy. Time to move on from this.

What better way to move on from a topic than to start a thread about it?

THEN you bring in 85 players, 10 or so coaches, managers, other people.

If an empty room is stuffy a full room is hot.

I think the media, and some fans might have blown this a tad out of proportion, myself included.

We won a great game, great performance by the Tigers.

If there was indeed no A/C, and I really don’t even care at this point, we obviously overcame and Texas played a part in stopping their OWN offense LOL.

He didn't say anything about it being more than a little stuffy. Maybe he's playing it down because he's tired of hearing about it.

I read that LSU brought their own equipment in on Friday. It was still stuffy on Saturday.

It sounds like the AC may be adequate for a slightly warm day. But, when you have over 100 degree temps for days on end combined with numerous hot bodies playing in that heat, it was not adequate.

Infrastructure projects upgrading the visitor's locker room a/c is pretty low on the list. It is only for one month out of the year that it may be an issue.

Of course, I'm only speculating from information I've read.

I would be interested in the relative btu's available on the Texas locker room compared to the visitor's side.

It's almost like he's moving onto the next game. Shocking. That doesn't make it any less chickenshit on UTA's part.

Well, we know that on this board there are going to be 10 threads a day about the same topic. Everybody will think that what they have to say is ground breaking enough for its own thread. That's a given on this board.

The greatest thing of all though is that instead of tons of threads crying about losing, who sucks, who needs to be fired, it's threads complaining about an AC and how shitty Texas is. I'll take that all day over the alternative.

The whole narrative was blown up by the media into something it wasn't. Straight up fake news. CEO was asked about a rumor and he never confirmed that the AC was off. He just said that he was told it was hot and came prepared. As far as how hot it was, he only said "it wasn't great" and that the blowers made it "tolerable."

Most likely thing is that the AC sucked and didn't cool the locker room down to what's considered comfortable. Exactly how hot it was? We'll never know. This whole thing has been so stupid. Screw the media for spreading lies.
