I thought the backs did well considering. Davis had a great block.
I expect us to run the ball more as they tweak this offense and get back to a little more ball control. I love the offense but our defense was as gassed as I have seen in a long time.

That spin move on a crucial 3rd down was epic and reminded me of LF when he was at LSU. LF used that spin move often.

What. The. frick. Were you watching? He whiffed on multiple blocks, didn’t pick guys up, and attempted the cut guys when he needed to square them up and slow them down. It was an absolutely terrible effort in pass blocking. You and I must’ve been watch different games.

CEH is slow but he didn’t dance around the hole losing yards and he didn’t fumble. In big games that experience counts. Young backs sometimes try to do to much and hurt the team. Clyde was very solid overall. Emery TDP will get opportunities over the next several games.

It is obvious Clyde is out there as the coaches have more confidence in his ability to pass protect, he has a lot of utility and generally functions well in the offense. To a lesser degree, same probably goes for Fournette.

It’s a shame as we have freshmen backs with more pure talent, but clearly they aren’t ready.

Rewatching the game now. First, I think he is a very average back and his vision is subpar. Hands of stone. Seems like he goes down immediately when touched.

I guess the Texas D didn't have anything to do with limiting him to almost 6 yds per carry? He was out there because he gave us the best opportunity to win.
