CBS: LSU Underrated at #16

Max Johnson will be a star, Kayshon Boutte is the best healthy wide receiver in the country, the running back room is stout, four starters return on the offensive line and the 11 players on the defensive side of the ball won't have their heads spinning from ex-coordinator Bo Pelini's over-coaching that took place a year ago. LSU won't be a pushover -- it'll be a national title contender.

Big year for O.
I need 3 things
1) Beat A&M. Can’t go 1-3 in the last 4. This perception of them passing us has to be halted in its tracks. That’s the biggest must win of the year to me. Too much on the line with recruiting.
2) win double digit games. The OOC should be gimmes, including UCLA. He needs 10-3 at a minimum this year.
3) The defense has to be top 3/4 in the league. There’s too much talent. Dline is deep and strong. Best CB combo in the country.
If he can do that and close with a strong bowl win then we enter 2022 as one of the favorites to win it all. Our QB room should be insane with Brennan (maybe), Max, Nuss and Howard.

I heard Sallee say this around April or May on Finebaum….glad he is still of that opinion after the whole summer. Finebaum was pissed…

We are 2-1 against a&m I dgaf what scoreboard says.
Not sure how we head into 2022 rated so high when we lose so much after this year in trenches. This is the year if we have a rb step up.
