do these "experts" realize how dumb they look when their list for the best football player in the country is nothing but 5 well known QBs and RBs? any casual fan could have the same list as dodd.

and btw, if you have 2 players at the same position from the same conference, then apparently what they're doing isn't really that special now is it?

Interesting. No seniors in the top six.

I know Mallett just probably blew his opportunity to win the trophy with 2 picks against Bama, but he's still got the best arm in cfb.

Wow....

Ever go out on a limb much?

No offense, but nobody really cares about bs like this.

But "casual" fans eat that shite up. The amount of fans who can think outside of the box and realize that defensive players can be the best player in the nation just as much as offensive players are few and far between.

I'm not sure what your point is here, but if you're speaking on the talent level of the conference, but neither team played a conference game yet.

We all know it is a popularity contest, and what sad is it is turning into "who is the hottest new name in CFB" award.

Every scout will tell you PP is probably the best player in CFB this year, however he will not have a chance at the heisman. I hope like hell he does, but even then it will not change my mind about the award.

Although it would make sense more Juniors would win it. If they are truly the best player in CFB, then they would turn pro wouldn't they?

The worst?

Hmm...maybe something like PP cramping up, coming out of the game, and the next play Julio Jones houses a short pass for about 65 yards and the score.

Something like that.
