The Baseball team has given up 5 stolen bases in 6 innings!!! This is gonna make for a long SEC play! Can we get Pap back?

Id say only 1 of those was on the catcher.. The pitchers and fielders arent working the runners

I love Mathis. Hes gritty and plays hard and I know it's not all his fault but this is getting ridiculous

Wanna know something that will make you even more sick?

Kentucky is 5th in the nation in stolen bases.

Only one of those was on Mathis, the rest on the pitchers. Not checking the runner, changing tempo, or slide stepping. If anything it’s on Dunn for not preparing his pitchers better. It’s crazy how bad it has gotten.

Ive addressed this in another thread but Mathis has some technique issues he needs to work on. Some of it may be on the pitchers but his delivery to second needs to be shortened. Once he comes out of his stance the ball needs to be positioned by his ear. He tends to wind his arms before throwing and that takes time.

You have to wonder if we worked on fundamentals at catcher or on holding runners on base.
