Let's look back at where this team was projected to finish--4th or 5th in the West. That's basically Miss State or Ole Miss's bowl matchup.

Pout all you want, Speedy, but I would have pissed myself laughing at anyone suggesting this in August.
My prediction with 6-6 at best.
Yeah, the way the season ended sucks arse, but I am stoked for the future. The team grew up a lot, and with some rest this team should be ready to get that 10th win on Jan. 2.
10-4? Are you kidding me!?! Just having that possibility seems unreal to me.
Less than a year ago, LSU fielded a bowl team with not enough scholarship players to fill out the 2-deep roster.
In four weeks we play in the Citrus Bowl with the eyes of the nation watching.
Be proud. This team has earned our respect.
