I get so damn tired of hearing that Harris isn't ready. How the hell will he ever be "ready" sitting on the bench. There are over 100 fbs qbs ranked ahead of Jennings it's time for a change.

I want Harris to start as much as anybody. He's not ready. When he is it will be obvious to everybody. I don't think we could ever say that about Jarrett Lee.

Agreed.

However, we can't keep saying that next season too. If the guy never plays he will never be ready.

The rest of this season is a great opportunity to get him some more time on the field.

He will get the reps in practice. Hopefully, he'll get some reps in the next few games. The transition from HS to college is enormous....especially for a QB in the SEC. Teams are limited by the NCAA in how many hours they can practice. Up til now, Miles has given the 1st team reps to the QB that gave LSU the best chance of winning. The importance of making a bowl game is those 15 extra practices. Look no further than the last 2 Heisman winners who were redshirted as true freshman and blossomed after a year's worth of practice reps. I was hoping that Harris as an EE would be farther along. Apparently he is not.

You also don't want to ruin a kids confidence throwing him into the fire before he is ready. Maybe he will be ready by this years bowl game like this guy was.....
