Les's job is walking to the mailbox to collect that buyout check. I'm pretty sure he enjoys the hell out of it.

He would enjoy getting a job a hell of a lot more which he has made clear time and time again. Sooner or later someone will give Les a shot.

As flawed as LSU's coaching "search" was, it's still miles better than the shite show Tennessee is putting on right now. So yes, LSU fans CAN in fact talk shite about someone else.

I can believe they don't want him. his rep of fielding bad offenses is just too much. even moreso than his age IMO (he and Cutcliffe are about the same age, and they've at least tried with Cutcliffe).

I actually think he'd do well there. the staff would be interesting. I'm thinking guys like Tee Martin, Jay Graham, Chief, Ron Cooper, maybe Austin Thomas (I know ).

That is just keeping up appearances so his buyout isn't voided. Read between the lines.

The man is getting paid millions to sit around and do a podcast with his daughter. I'm sure he'd rather do that than give up that time to coach another big name program.

The only way Les' stubborn-arse, 1960 offense can win is when he has superior talent. Tennessee is not a talent rich state, so recruiting there is tougher than most believe.

I have never seen Les' contract, but I've seen others with guaranteed money, and they usually have a clause stating that a good faith effort to get a job has to be made by the recipient. So, if Les does not want a job he will still make a show of trying.

These stupid threads deserve an anchor regardless of the board they're posted on.

Miles is 64 and collecting big checks to not coach. If he wanted a job coaching, he'd have one.

ETA: It's probably the same to miserable "fans" that downvote any post that suggest Miles was a good coach here. You guys are pathetic.

Someday all the Miles Tards will realize. NO ONE WANTS LES MILES in a Big Program.

17 Schools are looking for head coaches, not one has mentioned MILES...

Arizona State
Arkansas
Florida
Kent State
Mississippi
Mississippi State
Nebraska
Oregon State
Rice
South Alabama
Tennessee
Texas A&M
UCLA
UTEP

But Hey, if UT hires Gundy, maybe Miles could go back to OKS.....Wait, never mind, OKS fan base hates him to....

It's no surprise that Miles bashers are some of the dumbest people that post here.
