Love that the coach throws the players under the bus

I've said for a while, even before Trent, that two guys could turn our program around: John Beilein and Steve Lavin.

Neither of those guys will come here anytime soon but both predictions have proven correct.

Man Beilein could do some damage at LSU

I don't think he has ever mentioned any interest in coaching at that level.

Randy Livingston is extremely interested in returning to LSU as head coach............as soon as there's an opening, of course. Randy loves LSU.

shite, if Storm Warren is 'chasing tail' I sincerely hope that chick is about a pound short of 300. Otherwise he'd never catch her.

With the heat that's been on the LSU program this year I think he'd be a bad choice. Great coach but not good for the program as a whole IMHO.

As long as he appears to care, that's good enough for now. I never thought we'd have a negatiger actually coaching one of our teams.

I would take Brian Hardgroger at live oak HS. He obviously will not get this job but the dude has had looks/offers from colleges. He gets the most out of his 5'5 nonathletic white players. I promise you he is better at X and O's than TJ.

Since Brad Stevens and Shaka are longshots(though I would still make them say no)...

Gregg Marshall - Great coach. Next "up and comer". He's still probably a long shot

Dane Fife - He was building a solid program at IPFW and left for an assistant job under Tom Izzo. He's young, energetic and Izzo thinks pretty highly of him. I think he's holding out for a big coaching job in the big ten, though.

Dan Monson - He was a top up and comer at Gonzaga and took over a shitty situation at Minnesota. He's turned a garbage program like Long Beach State into a highly respected mid-major. He's happy where he is, but he may leave.
