To me JJ and Lee are two sides of the same coin - barely adequate QBs that both have a penchant for horrible decisions in critical moments. I'm hoping Lee can cut down on the mistakes and terrible across his body floating passes and manage this team through the season...but, man, if we had a Mauch type guy under center I think this team would clearly be unbeatable and probably ranked #1. Defense is sick and the skill positions are loaded. Great vic hope Lee shows some improvement.

This won't end well. But for the record, I think we just need an average QB. Lee or JJ could do it with a few tweeks.

LSU with an Adrew Luck type of QB would have won 65-13 last night

Need another play-maker, or two. Is Shepard coming back anytime soon?

I've wondered why we can't get/develop one, but so does the rest of the country when they talk about LSU. The crazy thing is, you don't really see a great QB anywhere in the SEC. Most want to go places where they can put up big numbers.

Actually Lee makes plays in critical moments. He just seems to struggle when there is no pressure. Jefferson just can't decipher a defense and only pulls the trigger when the WR is completely open. The only thing he is good for is running out of the pocket.

JR is over rated and no longer worth talking about...

Lee was "good" enough last night.

His receivers were not good last night.

Rohan led a team to a sec title regardless if mauck had to finish. JR coulda said the same if Flynn woulda finished for him in 05. both won sugar bowls.

I don't know him - I learned last night he was a lazy fat arse for most of his time at LSU. Do you know him?

Terrible footwork, form, etc. But I do think he can become serviceable - I hope he does. Since we lost Perriloux QB play has been horrendous.

Tahts right You were only like 15 in 2001. Still wet behind the ears.

Stats?? Like what??? Did JR EVER have a game like Rohan did against Bama in 2001??? NO.

Record 10-3 in 2001
Record 11-2 in 2006. YEAH that clinches it.

Look, say what you want, but I am happy with Lee's performance. I really think he did well. If he does the same the rest of the year, I will be happy. And, I think he'll get better. He performed as a game manager. That's what I want.
