Pumlee had a nice day against us running. Is Hurts better?

I suggest 3 weeks of work to learn how to stop Hurts from gashing us

Yes, and if we don’t who cares? If they punt more than twice they are done

We stopped him pretty good in 2016 without an offense.

I have faith in aranda game planning over the next few weeks.

Hurts looks hurt to be honest. He doesn’t look like the same player now that he was to start the season.

He put up 10 points against LSU in T.S, scoring late in the 4th quarter with 4 no calls on 4 holds. That bama team was a lot better team than OU is this year.

how long have you watched football?

hurts running was not what beat us in 2016 (save the 4 holds on his TD run) or 2017. 2017 he beat us throwing down field after we stopped bamas north-south run game and horizontal pass game. go back and watch the games.

i think aranada will defend pass first and make hurts tuck it and try to run to keep drives going. limit big plays. if hurts runs for a few first downs so what. keep them out the EZ. we will pressure him with man blitzes also. have to stay in gaps or he can run on those also.

Our defense wasn’t playing at the level it is now when we played Old Mrs

Hurts isn’t as fast as Plumlee.

People didn’t know what Plumlee was capable of, his game against us was in many ways his coming out.

We’ll be ready for Hurts to scramble.

It’s OU and Riley. They will get theirs

You beat them but forcing them to make mistakes.

Remember when Dave Aranda didn't allow Lamar Jackson to score a point? I member very well.

I expect similar results this game with a stronger offensive output, obviously.

52-13 Tigers

If anybody can make life miserable for LSU, it's him.

Hurts didn't seem that nimble in that Baylor game.

17 carries for 79 yards and 11/22 for 145 yards. That's pretty much what Hurts averaged against LSU playing on 2 great Bama teams. He can double those number against LSU and we may still beat OU by 3 TD's. Oklahoma isn't going to slow our offense down one bit. I'll bet we rush for 200 and throw for 350 on Okie.
