Yes. We will lose due to poor game prep and coaching. Miles no longer cares.

Miles couldn't change the offense if he wanted to. He's limited because he doesn't have a QB

It's funny you say "tailor-made".
I'm thinking the idea of playing a team perfectly suited to get Classic Les-Ball is anything BUT funny for a few folks...

frick you for making me say all that.
Thought there might be one or two around here that would choke on saying "yeah, I guess we oughta run it down their throats"

One thing scares me about this game. Miles' typical philosophy is perfect for this type of team. Control the clock, ground and pound, keep their offense off the field. However, all I have been hearing is how he is changing the offense and transitioning to more of a multiple game. I just hope the change doesn't come back to bite us and we are subject to a lot of three and outs or quick positions.
You mean like pull a Lane Kiffin and kill drives by getting cute when the ground game is grinding out 1st downs?

He's limited because he hasn't recruited, or developed, a QB to run the style of offense he wants to run, or he won't adapt his offensive game plan to match the talents of the QBs that he has on campus

Harris has to check down more. Home runs not what we need now and in 2016.

I'll be happy with a win, but sadly, this is kind of a no win situation for a program like LSU. Though it will, hopefully, be a fun experience for the players, and I'm sure they'll get plenty of swag

Miles bashing is what we do best. If he was to show his willingness to change with today's era of football by getting away from 1968 Michigan I-Formation the rant and others would back off of him. He brought all of this on his own.
Crazy how that "1968 Michigan" offense was the first in SEC history with a 3000 yard passer, 2 1000 yard receivers, and a 1000 yard rusher not too long ago.
weird

why is it all or nothing with the really big miles lovers?
you think just because we want to see an effective passing game we don't love the power running game? we do. we just don't think these are mutually exclusive ideas like you do.
we want to see an effective short passing game. If the other team loads up to stop the run, make them pay with the passing attack.
look at Alabama - every game I've watched this year I've seen them start with a simple short game passing attack. takes 2-3 plays to move the chains, but they move the chains. they start running henry in the mix, but they never abandon the passing game. because they are able to make first downs, henry gets to run more and more as the game progresses.
Normally, and I repeat normally, because there are some games you can point to as an exception, we try to power run into a stacked box multiple series, passing only on 3rd and long. the games where we throw more passes are the games we are down by more than 2 scores.
WE LOVE POWER RUNNING. we have no problem with Les loving to run the football. we have a problem with les philosophy that pass is a four letter word.

Yes this game definitely plays into Miles' narrow minded strength. We'd probably be better off next year if it didn't, ,,,,maybe. To bad we didn't get that freebee from McNeese, he could get that 10 win season that matters most. Geaux Tigers, fk Miles

That will never happen.

Yeah, enough of this Alabama penis envy...

I'd rather Les pull a "Lane Kiffin" by having a productive, balanced offense and getting productive QB play from the likes of Blake Sims and Jake Coker.
Oh, and making the playoffs two years in a row with those two QBs.

yep. And if a team can be a credible threat to throw the ball, it makes running easier, and vice versa. Just mix in run/pass and don't be predictable with play calling or formations.
It ain't rocket science.

Miles said in his first presser the week after A&M if not for a game canceled we could have had 10 Wins!!! WOW, HOW SAD, but that's what his guys mind set is . You think Kelly, Urban or Satan give a damn bout 9 or 10 or even 11 Wins, it's Championships or burst!!!Miles has great Talent, the highest paid Coaching staff money can buy, and HE's worried ABOUT WINNING 10 GAMES!!! With great defenses and ST's he's been able to come close even with his bad offenses that year in and year out that ranks among the worst in college football. PITIFULL

once again....the resident tards completely overreact to a statement made by Miles

How is this an overreaction LESIE!! HE said it ! If he was a serious coach, why would it even enter his mind? This is getting to be like a damn circus, everybody loves a circus and here we have Alleva leading the Circus and Miles as the clown. This team, fan base and State deserve better AND that is what the Michigan boards were saying when his own School didn't want him back.
