no i'm not.....it just takes a little common sense...which some of you are finally beginning to exhibit...others, it is hopeless. I'm not righteous in any way.......plenty of skeletons in my closet.....just trying to explain what is going on......without just throwing out every bit of info that should not be shared.....I'll stfu now.....I have lunch with GG.

It's much more important for TM to get his life straight than for him to rejoin the lsu football team
Who here has argued against that? Everybody arguing against you has the opinion that TM would profit the most from sitting out a year, getting himself clean and his life back on track and returning to the college football field to prove those thing and that he is still a great player. If he does that at freaking Texas, I could care less. I want him to get his life straightened out and work his way back up to a sure fire 2nd round pick at minimum. If he does that at LSU even better.

What ever happened to the good ole days when a coach could dismiss a player from the team for any d*mn reason he wants? You know, kind of like Paul Mainieri does.

dude...if you're right then fine. but what pisses people off is when posters come here stating shite like its a fact and they have some vast inside knowledge when its blatantly apparent they do not.
if you would just said "in my opinion" you wouldn't be getting hassled nearly as much. Just don't pretend to have inside info then vaguely answer when asked about it.
I don't have vast inside knowledge.....I'm sure there are some on this board that know more than me about what is going on. I know enough. I'm not in the room with the legal team, nor privy to meetings with admin and legal. I just have enough relevant information to understand what is up. Most of you should be able to figure it out...and honestly, I would expect that you could. There are a few that are hopeless. Now, have a good day. I'll let it rest now.

seems like red and vc are both working with valid info. red from tm's position and the the fact that he has LSU by the short hairs right now. also sounds like legal advice was given to tm and his family.
vc from the LSU position. when it was stated that tm was gone for good by bo, that meant tm had officially failed more than 3. LSU only had 3 on paper though.
if it becomes legal issue then it attracts attention from NCAA.
if tm transfers problem solved.
if LSU gets 4th fail on tm --- problem solved.
no facts here. just trying to put two sides of story together.

last post...."JUST MY OPINION" It's not just a matter of dismissing him.....with higher powers involved.

I can buy this.
At this point, I tend to agree with your entire post.
I sincerely hope that is not true, though, because it definitely lowers my opinion of TM (and family) if true. If that is indeed correct, it means that LSU has gone out of their way to help TM continue as an LSU football player only to basically be "blackmailed" into letting this situation drag on.

So you're basing your OPINION on the same info that everyone else is privy to.
does that about sum it up?

Yup. And, frankly, the fact that he's making it seem like he has inside info when he doesn't should be enough for the banhammer. But maybe the mods are as amused by him as the rest of us are.
Edited to add: it looks like we did the the 'ol anchor on this thread.

Too bad his parents feel differently As does he apparently
I haven't spoken with him or his parents and haven't seen any direct quotes, but sitting out a yr from all football with "hopes" that you might be reinstated to the LSU football team sometime down the road appears to be a pretty big gamble to take at this stage of his career.
All I'm saying. I would love to get another yr to watch him play at LSU.
BTW, his "parents" are advising him???

It doesn't ad up. It seems more like he realized his dumb arse error and wants to sit out to prove he can cleanup. If it was just about football he would have left and played somewhere. I think its more his love for LSU

no....and all of what I said is not opinion. the last part I put as opinion...
Seems like there are several that have saw the light on this...and DMAG summed it up perfectly. I'm sorry you are having a hard time with this. I actually like you as a poster, and thought you would see this all quickly......the sky isn't falling choctaw.

Why have you spent several hours on this board the past two days trying to argue for your theory on the situation?
