Bottom line we don't match up well with them with our philosophy. We must tweak things and find or develop a complete QB who can hit the quick, short passes as well ast the bombs to keep Bama's D honest. And, we must recruit superior athletes on the lines. They have outrecruited us. We have to start closing the gap. THE END>

I'll bet you a coke that we beat them next year...

I remember back in 2007 when it became obvious that Alabama would hire Saban.
NOBODY in Tigerland was worried one bit. Everybody was sure that LSU made Saban look great and that Saban would manage to make Alabama competitive again, but not much beyond that.
NOBODY in Tigerland thought that Saban would build Alabama into the monster that it is today. NOBODY in Tigerland thought so.
Oh, there were a few in Tide Land that thought that Saban would rival Bear's accomplishments, but, the LSU Tiger faithful ridiculed them as "delusional Alabama fans".
If any LSU fan would have posted back in 2007 that Saban would win a couple of NCs at Bama, that person would have been set upon by an angry lynch mob of LSU internet bullies and battered into oblivion.
OH HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED ! Now the realization descends upon the LSU Tiger faithful that our glory days must be postponed until after Saban retires. Sad thing is: I think Saban will coach at Bama for another ten years.

Don't accept the status quo - find a way to win. When has Bama gone undefeated? They are beatable, just need to break the code. Hint - it is NOT running through them.

Every team is beatable. It is not predestined that we will never beat Bama/Saban or at least while CLM is coaching here. That is definitely a loser's mentality. Just reality in the minds of a pessimist.
CLM must tweak his program and have a QB who can make the throws. I guess another way of saying it is that the only way to beat Bammer is with a QB with experience and with adequate depth on both lines. Very possible conditions to have.

For some reason, LSU did not look prepared for a game of this magnitude on Saturday
But it's not just that we didn't look prepared. We looked like we didn't care. Every team has a bad game every now and then. It sucks that ours came in the biggest game of the season, but if we couldn't come out and play with inspiration, I don't understand why Les couldn't at least manufacture some desperation. Once again, he coached the second half as if he had accepted that we were gonna lose and he was just playing to mitigate the loss. This was the best LSU team since at least 2011 vs the most beatable gump team 2010 and our undefeated season was on the line. The loss would be easier to swallow if we had gone down by 4 scores while trying to make some offensive adjustments rather than just rolling over and accepting a 14 point arse kicking.
