Nothing against Trindon, but no. Trindon is a great athlete, but only sees limited time in running gimmick plays and some returns. It is ignorant to even compare him to Sproles. Aside from size difference, Sproles was a true running back at KState and I would bet had at least 10 times more touches in college.

The Sproles/TH comparisons are retarded.

Go watch Sproles play. He breaks tackles regularly. If TH gets touched he goes down.

In addition Sproles has better vision.

TH won't make it in the NFL. He isn't a top returner in college and brings nothing else to the table.

No Way a team wastes a draft pick on him. He isn't even a top SEC return man. Take off the purple and gold glasses.

Quite frankly, he has very poor ball skills.

Here are the college stats for Darren Sproles. This certainly supports your point.

2001: 28 rushes-210 yards, 7.5 YPA, 1 TD
2002: 237 rushes-1,465 yards, 6.2 YPA, 17 TD
2003: 306 rushes-1,986 yards, 6.5 YPA, 16 TD
2004: 244 rushes-1,318 yards, 5.4 YPA, 11 TD

Also, if Les doesn't feel comfortable using Trindon as our primary punt returner, how is he going to play that role in the NFL?

I am a big fan of Holiday, but I think his future is running indoor track (60 meters and possibly 100 meters). He may never become a superstar, but if he is in the top 15-20 in the world at his events, he will make a very nice living for the next six or seven years.

If Scott enters the draft as rumored, Trindon will get more carries, and we'll see who's a football player.

Uh, no.
