Miles can recover.
Despite all of this
and slipping in this year's recruiting; he gets another shot to win big. Win Big and recruiting will remain.
Somebody asked why we will be better next year.
Les may hire a new OC. Even if he didn't;
in a statistical sense, our talent on offense will gravitate towards better offensive statistics.
Even Crowton can learn huh? Our offensie players are starting to display talnts that lead to specific system. (like Jefferson going deep)
First and formost:
1A. By the law of averages clock management will be better.
1B. An offensive coordinator that can craft a simply carve out a personality from an immensly talented group of individuals.
1. Terrance Tolliver SR.(all signs from the end of his JR. season point to him starting to play to his potential. + becoming Jefferson's favorite target= His upside >> Brandon Lafell SR. year
2. Rueban Randle SO. season = Terrance Tolliver JR
3. Jordan Jefferson JR. >>> Jordan Jefferson SO.
4. Deangelo Peterson(big time pro IMO and favored target by Jefferson >>>>>>> Richard Dixon
5. Russel Sheppard >>>>> Holliday, K.Williams and Murphy
6. Micheal Ford = pretty damn good
7. Micheal Brockers and about four other blue chip, athletic freaks >>>>>>> Rahim Alem
(no knock on the dude)
8. Nevis and Downs won't have anyone missing anything. It is crucial for Chris Davenport or Akeim Hicks to be a stud. Major programs usually don't miss on JUCO's and Davenport was considered one of the best.
9. Minter and Sheppard cannot compensate for the loss at LB. but returning the best secondary in college football will.
10. Seemingly, we could have as many plymakers in the DB. as anyone. More blitzes as great DB's get older and wiser in coverage.
11. The line should improve everywhere but at LT
Senior leadership may be lacking- but a return of 1st round talent being on the field w/ experience could compensate. P. Petterson, D. Nevis, Brockers, D. Peterson, Randle, Loston ect.
