In the extremely unfortunate circumstance that LSU has to play without Delpit Saturday, is there still a reasonable shot at winning (in your opinion)? I think the consensus on this board is that this game will be won on the line of scrimmage (Bama rushed for over 200 yards last year) and the matchups on the slot WRs will be vital (not a lot of faith in Kary Vincent). Delpit had a huge impact in both areas and with Divinity already out and Tua likely playing it seems like Delpit being gone as well could be detrimental.

We’ll never know, because he’s playing.

Unless he gets hurt during the game, we won't have to find out.

I don't think so...the loss of divinity doesn't really affect the way bama plays. Without delpit it def does.. we will get torched on big plays

I cant ask a LSU football related question? Lol This is what this forum is for right? Or am I only allowed to say/ask things with 100% positive implications for LSU?

Will be hard. He’s clearly going to be limited too. If it gets to be a shootout I won’t worry too much. But LSU is going to have to score a bunch

100% out? Probably not with absolutely winning the turnover battle.

ETA and kary Vincent playing great.

Why are you assuming he’s “clearly” limited?

Your an idiot and obviously not an LSU fan nor pay any attention to the fact that he is playing.

Yes clearly i'm an idiot for thinking that a guy who hasn't practiced all week may not play in a game two days from now. I have no idea why I would ever even think such a thing. Shame on me for asking such a ridiculous question. Don't know where I ever got the thought.

Defense isn’t going to win this game for LSU. It’s all on Joe Burrow and the offense

I don't see our defense slowing Bama down. Especially with Delpit a little banged. Really hope we can keep pace on offense but Bama at home I feel like the get the edge.
