Oh God! I feel the undefeated tension again as our LSU Fighting Tigers start departing Baton Rouge on their way to play once-beaten Florida Gators in Gainesville Florida 3:30 EST. CBS TV.

Over the year as we become older you would think that the tension in being undefeated would not be so intense and important, but, of course, that is still not true at all. I feel the tension over the feeling of "can our beloved LSU Tigers beat the Florida Gators in Gainesville?"

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- With LSU set to head to the Swamp on Saturday as the first Top 5 team to visit Florida since Ole Miss in 2015, I took a few minutes to chat about the game on the 1010XL radio in Jacksonville on Monday night. Here's a transcript of that conversation, with how I view the two teams heading into Saturdays' big game.

1010XL: When you take just the idea of what looked like a bad football team against Kentucky, having won these last two football games, has your opinion changed and how much?

Goldkamp: "I think it has changed some for sure. We've seen Florida all too many times over the last couple years lose a game like that Kentucky game and it just kind of be this psychological blow that they're never able to get over. I think that what we've seen from Florida these last two weeks on the road is that they're still bought into what Dan Mullen is selling. And I think that you've been able to see from week to week some consistent improvement in a lot of areas. And that's something that is very different from the last few years."

Depends. Is there a hurricane in a 5000 mile radius of the stadium?

Not sure. Let me start another one of these threads and find out. The last 50 haven’t given us a definitive answer yet.

I took LSU -2 so I’m not scared. Can we lose. Absolutely. Do we lose? Well I put my hard earned cash where my mouth is and I’m not anxious about it either. I trust our defense against their offense. Franks is not gifted at running, his delivery is not quick, and I think Aranda will dial up some hot sauce on him. Florida has a pretty salty defense so as usual we are going to have to bring it on offense simple as that to win.

I personally don’t think so. Not many people had us winning this game in August, and we’re dealing with a lot of injuries. I’d feel better with a full strength OL

Remember the threads about can LSU survive Miami, and their great defense in Dallas?

How did that work?

Remember a few weeks later when there was NO WAY LSU would be able to play in the one of the most hostile environments, against the best defensive line in the nation?

How did that work out?

Now we are scared of playing against Florida, in an environment that isn't as tough as Auburn, against a defense that isn't as good as Auburn or Miami, and against an offense that is garbage?

LSU may not blow them out, but I expect them to fully control this game from start to finish.

If it’s close, the college football Illuminati will give it to LSU. There will be too much money to made next week with an undefeated top 5 match up.

That said, LSU wins by 3 TDs. We are not losing this game.

After LSU beat the Florida Gators in Gainesville Saturday the sports media are going to say. "Who are those guys!"
