What the hell are you talking about? Ducre is a player on the team that was recruited as a running back.

I live in the same press area as devin white played in, and our paper constantly spoke of him as playing rb in college .this is while he was in high school playoling both ways and just absolutely taking games over at rb ,he was making dbs piss there pants in the open field and getting about 20 tackles a game ...did LSU EVER consider him as a rb ? During recruiting or since hes been on the team...i realize theres no way to know if they discussed or thought about it. Just wondering if any of yall heard anything about that ever? i remember our newspaper saying that lsu wanted to play him at rb some....the writer for LSU football in our local paper is terrible though ,so who knows whats true .Glen Gulibeau is his name ,i think thats how its spelled .the thought of that big ole dude at tailback in the goal line package is intriguing, but hes just too important of a player at too important of a position,no matter the importance of the situation, especially next year , even to get 4 or so carries a game isnt he? Jabrill peppers though
shite, that was hard to read

Why the obsession with this guy? I haven't even seen him on special teams once, which is a strong indication that the coaches don't think much of him.
I get that a lot of posters here are from the Northshore area and saw him tear it up in HS but I promise you would see him on special teams if he was close to ready for action.

Rushed for 868 yards on 182 carries
Is this a typo? Seems like a really low YPC for a high school senior going to the SEC. Especially considering his junior stats.

Dice has to be better than williams. Brosette too for that matter. Last year it was like giving carries away with him in therem

I think I remember he looked very good in the spring game.

Williams will play a lot lighter next year
I sure hope so.
Watching the wild card game between the Dolphins and Steelers, they mentioned that Leveon Bell played around 235 at MSU, but dropped to like 215 in the NFL and its paid off a ton. Couldn't help but think about Darrel Williams. Not that I think he's the next Bell, but I think he could benefit a ton by dropping 15-20 lbs and getting quicker.

Lol. How can anyone not know about jacob hester at evangel and be trying to discuss him...he played all over the offense but his main position was rb. I played against him multiple timesand he was everywhere and had the ball alot and it hurt trying to tackle him alot...he broke one of the hard plastic brackets that holds the facemask on whenever he lowered his head And hit me helmet to helmet...i was a 165pound saftey and he was bout 215 then. ..one play he got me with his thigh pad to the dome and it was lights out.
I remember seeing him play against Ouchita in the playoffs and damn near killed a saftey.. dude laid on the ground for about 10 minutes and didnt move.. very violent collision.. safety came up full blast and hester ran smooth over him.. just like fournette at AM but the safety just went commotose.. it was a Daaaaaaaayum moment..

His vision was more of a problem than his weight. He wouldn't see the holes develop and would frequently run into closed holes. The other two Heisman guys would see a hole close, turn 90 degrees and zip into the hole that opened up beside it and would be off to an 8 yard gain where Darrell would only get 2 yards.
