there is no way 11am could be a blessing unless a bomb drops on the stadium at 6pm.

It's very possible it will be a blessing due to weather. Have you seen the fricking rain coming down at 3/4pm the past couple days? It rained at least until 7:30 yesterday.

Get the games in and get to Omaha. I'll be at the games (except a little late today(.

Am I missing something? The forecast calls for 50% chance of afternoon storms. The same as ever summer day. Why is everyone freaking out over this?

This game being at 11am is having no effect on my ability to keep up with it. In fact, it probably helps. I'm at work, and I can pull it up on ESPN3, if it were later and I were watching it at home I would have to keep getting up and getting a new beer, and would have to pay attention to only the game.
This way I will be constantly interrupted by co-workers who don't understand that I am not here to work today, I'm here to get paid to watch LSU baseball.

Seriously though, game time has not changed my ability to watch this game.

I'm not outside, but from the 6th story of my penhouse view, the clouds are getting darker and darker. Winds are blowing westwardly and still darker to the West toward Lafayette. Can you post pics from blackberry? do you need the TD app?

There is a cyclonic spin to the storms southeast of Galveston Texas. A vorticity maximum which should provide rainy conditions this afternoon and tomorrow into sunday.

The weather service in Slidell has us in a Flood Watch through Sunday evening. 3 to 6 inches of total rainfall amounts can be expected in SE and SCentral La through Sunday evening. Not an all day rain but storms will be heavy this afternoon and evening.
