Durham is more talented than Holley. Durham will be RB2 by mid season if not before.

I'm really interested to see who gets starting reps or emerges as the starters at the DE positions. Can Womack step up and be the guy? Can a slimmed down Savion Jones return to the player that had high expectations going into the 2023 season?

Agree, except for Durham redshirting. Would add that the D communicating and playing as a unit is critical. We might be able to get a good read on that in this camp, though.

Fake news here:

I think Durham probably red shirts this year and I’m done expecting anything from Emery.

Durham will be playing a lot IMHO. Special special guy.

-Does Kylin Jackson take the next step? Our DBs sucked last year and he barely played. It seems like when he did play he played well? I’m hoping he takes one of the starting spots because he very athletic and seems to have a ton of potential.

this is one I will be watching this year. One of my Zachary men. He came in as a top 150 recruit and has the size for the spot. He did not see much action last year on a shitty team but I figured that was a good thing... fewer bad habits to weed out. His HS film reminded me of Delpit in that he was pretty good in the box against the run. This will be an indicator year for him because the opportunity will be there.

Yeah mine are which CBs step up, and Nussmeier since football success mostly relates to the success of the QB.

With just an ‘above average’ defense, we would have been in the mix last year.
