At my local Ace, I can park right up front, walk in, and immediately find a helpful old guy who actually knows where everything is located. The store layout makes sense, they always have the exact electrical supplies I need for my home electrical projects whether I'm retrofitting a Lutron dimmer system, tracking down a specific GFCI outlet, or grabbing clean wall plates to finish a room. As an EE, I appreciate that their specialty drawers are actually organized so I can grab two oddball crimp terminals or a foot of heat-shrink tubing and get back to the workbench. Plus, they have a random aisle with high-end coolers, local hot sauces, and a massive wall of barbecue rubs right next to the power tools. It is comfortably elite.

ACE is making a YUGE comeback. Opening stores like crazy. Great stores!
I go to the one on Millerville, great store, those guys will spend 20 minutes to find the right bolt for you. I just wish they had stuff like lumber. Lowe's is right down the street, but I'd rather pay more at Ace. Great service is worth every penny.
I had a lot of Ida damage, I went there one day for tarps, tape, about $100 worth. I went to pay and realized I left my wallet at home, the lady said, "I recognize you, I'll hold the ticket until the next time you're here".
I'm not going anyplace else.
