We are now into the meat of our schedule, and our original starting QB will be back for the last 4 games. We could be realistically 4-4 at that point. No way Max finishes the season.

One can hope for 40 but under is more likely.
You have to remember that several in here think Brennan is the better leader and player.

Not sure how much football y’all have been watching but outside of UGA no team in the sec has a shut out type defense

Not sure I'd buy, but it will be close. What the hell, I'm buying...
3 TDs a game average isn't what it used to be; LSU will likely score at least 21 points in most of their remaining games. When you figure in the ULM game (should be a blowout), and the Ole Miss game (we may score 40+ and still lose), those numbers will climb.
And I honestly don't think we get 5 more rushing TDs on the year, it will ALL be through the air.
I think he gets 3+ in every game except Arkansas, A&M, and maybe Bama. So that would mean he'd need 4+ against ULM, Ole Miss, Kentucky and/or a bowl opponent.
And for those guys who say he won't get it because Brennan returns and takes the spot... get over it. Johnson's not losing the starting spot unless he gets injured. I don't care if he looks better in practice, you don't sit a younger QB averaging 3-4 TDs a game.
