He's a scrappy hitter that works the counts, draws walks and puts the ball in play. He's very well suited for the 9-hole where he can turn the lineup over.

Agreed, I like Nippolt a lot in the 9 hole. Just have a lot of mouths to feed.

Nippolt has been very good defensively.

There is a reason I had a scout tell me this was the most talented college baseball team he had ever seen.
