Will someone please explain keeping him till the end of the season?

Why not? There really isn’t anyone qualified to be interim. He agreed to it. And it’s possible the players sort of rally a little to end the season right and send him off.

Tell him recruit the best class possible and you’ll throw in an extra mil

Bad move. When you cut, you sever.

It really doesn’t matter one way or the other

But it's been reported that the players and coaches don't like him or something of that nature.

I don’t really buy this about all the players. The players that played yesterday looked like they wanted it for him. TDP literally went up to him after his first touchdown to dap him up and say something to him. Didn’t look like a player that dislikes him.

i think it was part of the deal for him to walk is to finish and get paid full for this year
its definitely about ed and not staying for LSU sake at all

I agree. There's something going on that we're not aware of.
Posted on 10/17/21 at 6:06 pm to LawrenceD
Because it will be nothing but a distraction.

If stuff about his off the field antics continues to come out, we should end it. It's embarassing. Don't see why he's still there.

Maybe your right. I like your take on that one.

Are you negatigers ever happy?

It puts the "job open" sign out and gives us time to make the best hire. Also, this becomes his farewell tour and the players will want to send him out on a goid note.

Could be a selling point for coaching candidates. "Look, we didn't can our jackass even though he was hitting on random women at gas stations. We've got more patience than the media will have you believe."

Right, that gives me a bad feeling that something is going on.
Posted on 10/17/21 at 6:12 pm to Longdriver98
And the media will talk about it non-stop.

This. All of it. Helps the team. Doesn’t demoralize the team and they completely tank. 17 million bucks? Might as well earn his buyout. Coach O looks better closing it out and LSU looks better. IMO.
If they aren’t after a big fricking fish though, then all the melts in the world are justified.

Listen troll, I live in reality, not some fantasy sports world.
