They will not be in the top 4 tomorrow. #5, on the outside looking in.

And let's be honest: this system is different.

Greg Sankey said on Game Day that the CFP Committee has been reluctant to expand the playoff field from 4 because they specifically want games like this one to matter. Period.

Bama is not getting in without significant, significant help. No amount of whining or excuse making on their part is going to change that.

Not going to worry about the CFP. Going to enjoy the next four games, especially when we curb stomp A&M and Georgia. Then let the chips fall where they may. We should wind up 1 or 2 seed. If Bama makes it in, they will be a four seed. They will match us up in the first round if that happens to prevent a rematch in championship game.

This is a revenge season. Let Bama make the playoff, LSU is going to set right a decade of frustration.

Bama never had the lead in that game. They got beat. Period. Also, they don’t deserve a spot.

These games should matter. If they don't, then why play them? The same can be said of conference championship games. If a team isn't going to get some sort of reward for winning that extra game, then what's the purpose?

As it should be. They had their chance. They didn't win. They shouldn't be able to rewrite the narrative when it doesn't suit them.

Something that nobody wants to admit about the 2011 team is that there were a lot of wins that could easily have been a loss. And I’m not just talking about Bama.

This team has controlled every game.
