Good, glad to see they are still living high in the sky off of their fluke v/s Michigan. THat will make it that much better when they get WELCOMED to Death Valley & the SEC. They will be wishing they were back in the big house playing a big ten opponent. You know, it's pretty funny when the kid down the street talks smack about beating his older brother until he finds out that his older brother is just a little girly boy compared to the MEN on the next block!

What is Edwards supposed to say? Is he supposed to say he expects to get killed and his team has no shot?

Let's look at 2007 results (thanks to Moustache, for the previous post logic):

Appalachian St beat Michigan,
Michigan beat Florida,
Florida beat Kentucky,
Kentucky beat LSU.

Now who looks girly?

KU beating LSU= Fluke
Michigan beating UF = Fluke
Ap State beating Michigan = Fluke

LSU winning 2 BCS National Championships in 5 years= PRETTY DAMN IMPRESSIVE

Ap State winning whatever that other division plays for= uh, ok, clap, clap, clap?

If you think your logic equals out to Ap State being on the same level as Michigan, UK, UF, LSU, or ANY team from the SEC, sorry girly boy, that don't add up.

Again, you & your team are in for something they know very little about when they prance into Death Valley. Oh wait, you guys do know a little about that, something like 24-0 may jog your memory of your last visit to LSU, Death Valley, & the SEC. Don't think you are going to the big house to play a big ten team. Anyway, hope you have a nice trip, enjoy the food, tailgating, sights, sounds, & beating. Good luck in your division.

1. Stephen Colbert called, he wants his Writers' Strike logic back ...
2. Look I agree, we're not going to expect any App fan or App player saying they're gonna lose, it's just not how things go, but seriously, if you think you're sneaking up on anyone after last year, you're crazy. No matter who you were playing, someone would said, we all saw what happened last year, let's not let that happen to us. LSU as the defending champ is basically in an underdog and no one gives us a chance to repeat as SEC West champs, much less as National Champs, so we're going to be out for blood, EVERY game.

Nobody gets sky high for 12 games- just not possible.
But I do think the fact that ESPN hype (which will grow exponentially in the next couple of weeks) saying Appy has a shot, plus comments like this one from their QB, will have LSU ready to play.
Fans may be another matter, as we seem to be laid-back except for SEC and top-25 opponents.
Appy will take their shot,, but adrenaline will only last for so long against the 4 pm heat and humidity, plus our speed- which will be much more than what Michigan showed.

/Commence hijack/

For serious question now guys.....I have been on here for several monthes seeing unrealistic App fans and unrealistic LSU fans all talk w/e loopy beer fueled crap that they can think of to say.

What would the LSU fans prefer us to do...just say we think you will will kill us? Say you're the best and we are scared? Even if we believed that it would be no fun at all if that was our attitude. I can only imagine the things you would say about us if that was our attitude...
We need to have a little faith and at least hope for a great showing or an upset..

Am I way off base here?....AGAIN

IMO, an ASU fan predicting the game to be any closer than 14 or 17 points is as unrealistic as an LSU fan expecting LSU to win by about 40 or 50.
