No, the question is whether or not they are responsible at all for this fight occuring, because they damaged HIM. They confronted him in the bar, not the other way around. It's game over dude.

What a fricking minute. Your original story was that Andrew tried to pull the driver, who he didn't know, out of the fight. You talked about how innocent and heroic he was trying to be. Now players try and pull him away from a girl and they are guilty as charged?

If they went and said "Hey stop harrassing that girl", and he pulled up and hit Wing... then no the players are not responsible.

I am not taking Andrew's side. There's absolutely no reports that this ever happened. Furthermore, this story seemingly came out of no where today, once the "racist remark story" vanished. I'm stating that even if this BS story was true, it wasn't the players place to start a conflict with someone.
