somebody posted a while back (not sure how much truth there is to it) that until the stadium has water fountains, (and if there are some, somebody please tell me where), by law, you are allowed to bring in your own water. Something about they can't MAKE you buy water. fwiw

My daughter had a bottle of water with only a few sips left in it and they made her throw it out.

That's just wrong, even for LSU.

Until the water fountains are installed, you can bring in bottled water if it has not been opened yet. Just FYI

Have you done that yet?

Where did you find that out at?

I will bring some today.

What's the difference if it's been opened?

I'm guessing they think if it is opened, it is likely that you replaced the water with a clear alcohol. Not that any Tiger fan would do such a thing.

Yes, I bring in two bottles of water every game.

Another fan told me, however, I asked the security guards, people checking bags and scanning tickets to confirm before bringing it.

At the Appl State football game last season they told me I couldn't take in my water bottle. I tried to explain that it wasn't water.

You're welcome; however, make sure that your bag/purse isn't too big, because they may take issues with that.

Yes, I watched them give grief to a young couple with a baby and a large baby bag. How ridiculous.

I love the way they check my medium sized but jam packed bag....they pat it on the bottom and then glance in it. I could really hide some contraband in there if I wanted to.
