Make sure he doesn't make any noise and stays in his seat the entire game because there are old bags all over the stadium that look to bitch about that kind of stuff. Hopefully y'all are lucky enough to avoid that and he has an outstanding experience.

Not really a veteran at this, but my experience is if you want to get to I-10 West, you should park north of the Stadium. If you park at the hayfield, Gurrier, etc, you'll be forced into the southbound traffic and it will take you an eternity to get back to I-10.
I suggest paying $20 to park at one of the businesses on Nicholson north of the stadium. From there all the Nicholson traffic goes north, and it usually takes 5 or 10 mins to get back to the interstate.
You could also try Lot 413 on River Rd by the softball field. I've never parked there but the traffic exiting the north gate of that lot goes north directly to the interstate.
Hope that helps.

Considering we are leaving after the game (Not Halftime) and head back to Laffy, what would the best parking spots be? I am willing to pay for sure
You can still buy a pass on LSU Tix.net for lot 407 which is across from the Vet school for $45. You can take River Road back to I-10 West from that lot.

I think my first game was against Ole Miss as well. Wore my Hutch LSU football jersey and will always remember my first Mike the tiger experience, students hanging out their windows when they still had dorms in/near the stadium and all the f bombs. Heaven on earth.

Man. I wss with my son, I wanted to enjoy every single second with him no matter the score Plus, I'm one of those guys that, no bs, stays through every single game I attend.
Miss st game. Stayed. Almost witnesseda comeback.
LSU Tennessee when we got sooo lucky, stayed (yes plenty did, but plenty left)
Every game man.
My main reason, to watch our younger players ball. Love seeing those young men work.
Plus living in sport, with 2 kids, gf, and a FT job. It's not as easy to go. So when I go i enjoy every second.

Be sure to explain to him beforehand about the things he is going to see and the language he is going to hear. May lessen the shock of a 9 year old seeing people face down drunk and only words beginning with f in use.
