Uhigh, but it will take you about 45min to get out.

I park right past UHigh by the lake and it takes us 10-15 mins to get back on I-10 westbound. Definitely NOT 45 mins

Unfortunately, Indian Mounds are now roped off during game day. Students/Professors claimed they were being destroyed by kids riding down them on cardboard

They may be, but there were about 30 kids riding down them on cardboard as we were walking to the game last weekend.

The new Nicholson Gateway area is nice. It’s across Nicholson from the track stadium. I think they call it the “Fan Experience” or something like that. They have a rock climbing wall, inflatables, a passing and field goal kicking inflatable for the kids. There’s a big tent with tables and chairs you can sit at while he plays if you want. Also have a big video board where they show other football games going on. There are vendors around selling food, drinks and beer, and a Matherne’s Grocery if you need to buy anything.

I took my 7 year old to his first game this past Saturday. So much fun. Great memories. When we were walking out of the stadium he hugged me and said that was the best day ever, thank you daddy..

I wasn't tearing up...

Such a great place to make such special memories.

Have a great time my man!

Who is Sonto?

I believe that was the Indian friend of the Lone Ranger, but that's not important right now...

Mine did the same a few years back. He loves going to the games and as a seasoned vet of 8 years old, he never misses the Tiger games either on TV or in TS.

Maybe they will play neck and you can proudly teach him the words.

That's why I hate playing Neck. I enjoyed being there when I was nine and hearing a little profanity now and again. But the crowd wasnt acting like punk azz gang rats. Go to hell ol Miss was good enough.

Good for U, Dad...You only have one chance to spend that time with him.. You can't go back to do it differently. Make it count the first time around!!!!!!!!!

Considering we are leaving after the game (Not Halftime) and head back to Laffy, what would the best parking spots be? I am willing to pay for sure.

Thanks for everyone's comments...Even the smart arse ones...I appreciate it and so does little Sonto!
