Unlike us, unc will be well rested when we play them. Still can't get over this horrible seeding.

I've never been to an LSU basketball game. I hope they do well, but i'm a Heels basketball fan.
I pull for Memphis BBall since a lot of my friends go there and i used to live in the area, but if they play LSU i would pull for the Bayou Bengal version of the Tigers w/o question.

Here's the thing:
I am rooting for LSU - Disclaimer. I went to nearly every Bball game through the decline of the Brown years and through 06. I love LSU, but I am a realist.
We don't have a frontcourt like UNC. UNC has Hansborough, Thompson, Davis, and Zeller (who admittedly is not great, but is at least a big body who is getting better).
Roy is resting Lawson for this game, but I expect him to play against us. Even if he doesn't play, the frontline of UNC will score a lot of points. There is also the added bonus for UNC with the tons of fouls they call when Hansborough leans in and establishes any form of contact.
I'm at UNC, and I hope I'm wrong. I hope I can rock the P&G and piss off the people on campus. But I don't see it happening realistically because of the frontcourt matchup.

North Carolina Sweet Sixteen...write it down...stamp it...record it...your front-line 'strength' is crap...

I don't think he is resting Lawson just for us. Lawson hasn't even gone through a live practice since the Duke game. If he isn't at least participating in practice, then it's probably more serious than just resting him for one game.

That's fair. But I don't there has been a game with any kind of threat for the title since the Duke game. Roy has shown some disdain for the ACC tourney as of late. I just think that Lawson will play if the game is close and that Roy didn't feel a need to play him today.

LSU will definitely push UNC to the limit.

What's your basis for this statement? Hope? Prayers?

Does the saying "no chance in hell" mean anything? In their backyard, their officials, their fans out numbering LSUs'...their talent vs the Tigers....you really think the Tigers have a chance?

This is where it really sucks.
Advantage UNC:
Playing in Greensboro,
Roster of AAs,
Jim Nantz going balls deep on TH
