You’re saying he sucks based off the last two years under Coach O, which we can all agree, O nuked the program. You’re ignoring 7 years of solid DB play and multiple early round draft picks. Florida ran him off because they found out he’s been in contact and coming back to LSU. It’s too obvious
McGlothern has had zero incidents at Arkansas so I don’t see how you can call out his character lmao. Also has 7 career picks. Running him off when you are desperate for corners is STUPID

Hate to say it the last few years at LSU, he was coasting and living off his past reputation. He definitely wasn’t coaching, Florida saw right through the pretending and coasting .

I’m absolutely making that up. I could see it happening, though. Hard to say what happened at Florida. I think he’s a scapegoat and Billy is grasping at straws to save himself for another year. Anyone saying he is a shitty coach and shitty recruiter is just talking out of their arse.

Why would we want the guy that didn’t actually start DBU (That was Ron Cooper), stopped developing talent, and used other schools as pay raises and threatened to bail on us every year? How does that make us that are weary of bringing him back fake fans?

Funny you want to give him all the credit for successes and don’t want to accept any criticism for his failures. Maybe Aranda hid a lot of his warts since you want to blame everyone else when his position group doesn’t perform well. But let’s not talk about that

I’ve said several times his last two years were rough. The entire program was rough. Can’t discount 7 years because the last two under O sucked.

I’d love to hear other people’s options as DB coach. He would be an unbelievable upgrade from Steeples.

Stingley came out the womb a 1st round pick. He didn’t develop anything. Ricks is still a bum, he can get some credit on Flott. Love that guy. On field performance under him while at LSU still stands though. It was not a positive.
