Coach O went 15-0 at LSU.

Les miles won a national championship at LSU.

I’m not worried about BK.

Before Kelly was even a consideration for the LSU job, 99% of the LSU fan base would agree with that article

Yep. Just look at this thread. It immediately became that dude is just bitter and butthurt, but apparently he’s been writing stuff about Kelly even while Kelly was at ND.

The article made good points about Kelly’s personality, recruiting, coaching decisions that cost them games.

All LSU fans heard is “bitter and butthurt”. Hell I remember reading the “Kelly is a lazy recruiter” stuff on here after he was hired.

And no one can deny it looks like Freeman has been busting arse recruiting. Yet on here, that becomes the guy has Freeman’s cock in his mouth or something.

There was no chance these fricking homers on this site would read that article objectively.

Numbers don't lie:

In his 12 years @ Notre Dame CBK went 113-40 for a .739% winning percentage including going 5-5 in bowl games.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/coaches/brian-kelly-2.html

During his 12 seasons at Notre Dame, Kelly finished with a record of just 4-11 against opponents that ranked in the Top 10 at the time of the game, including going just 2-5 during the "turnaround" seasons from 2017-21.

Two of those Top 10 wins were against opponents that finished unranked (Michigan State, 2012 - Stanford, 2018). Another came against a Clemson team that was playing without its All-American quarterback and three of its best starters on defense (2020).

Two of those Top 10 wins came in 2012, when the Irish beat the aforementioned Spartan team and also beat then No. 8 Oklahoma on the road. The Irish won just two games over Top 10 opponents in the next nine seasons. Its inability to beat Cincinnati on its home field this past season was yet another "big game" failure.

Without that win over Cincinnati, Notre Dame's resume simply doesn't stack up against Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and the Bearcats. Each of those teams have at least one win over a Top 25 opponent. The Bulldogs, Crimson Tide and Michigan all have at least two.

Notre Dame had none under Kelly.

Which is why he is in the SEC. He wants to compete with the best, with the best.

I agree with that article 100%. I've said it since the day he was hired here. I have zero faith in this guy. Everyone is so excited that we hired a guy who will be eligible for social security in just 2 years. Lord help us...

I was gonna get all mad & argue with you, but then I saw your sig pic moves and I was like damn maybe he is a step ahead of us

if the article is accurate, seems they should be thanking LSU for taking such an inept coach off their hands

I recall him screaming frequently at members of the team/staff. I have no love lost for ND for multiple reasons perhaps the cardinal one being holding forth as a Christian institution while all manner of the sickest perversions take place in the Catholic Church.
The fact that licentiousness and non consensual sex occurs in all schools should give is all pause to ask what are our priorities. Are they nothing more than the ephemeral gratification of athletic “achievement” and its associated largesse? What a truly shallow and misguided culture we have.
