Spurrier was one of the extreme few who might say something worth hearing. Leach of course is another. But I’m always amazed people still listen to coach interviews expecting to hear something interesting.
The coach will never specifically say whats wrong. He’s not going to say “well our left guard just found out his gf is cheating on him with a basketball
Player so he’s been a little distracted, and our right tackle has some hemorrhoids been acting up which have slowed him down, our safety stayed out drinking too late and was a little hungover, our cornerback is fast but is a pussy when it comes to tackling…”. No, you’ll get “we gotta get better. We gotta coach better.”
