I’m calling it now, UF is going to beat us just like Bama did.

Lose 3 in a row? 1 of them to Sunbelt Billy? Nah - that can’t happen.

It’s bad right now, I’ve mused about “what if we lose to UF” …. I don’t think it’s that bad.

This team beat Ole Miss — they should be able to beat Florida …. In Florida …..

I imagine Kelly going home after work and telling his wife that everyone here takes college football way too serious.

Every time he steps up to the mic, he says something to the effect of “these are the guys that we have. We can’t go out and get new players” and it really pisses me off sometimes.

i noticed as well

he said at one of his first pre conferences that one of the reasons this job was so attractive to him is because he believed he could win with the mass talent in the state

either our state talent is overrated and/or he’s missed on higher rated prospects and/or he can’t develope what he has

Outside chance? Why even write such a ludicrous statement?
It's brought up, because the "outside chance" isn't very far-fetched.

For LSU to get to Atlanta, we need:
1) LSU to win out. They will be favored to do so.
2) South Carolina to win a home game against Mizzou. Absolutely possible, and they should be favored.
3) A&M to beat Auburn. A&M will be favored.
4) Georgia to win a home game against Tennessee.
5) Arkansas to beat Mizzou in the season finale. I think that's the one upset we're needing.

If that happens, LSU finishes in a big logjam at 6-2 with a bunch of other teams, AND WINS THE TIEBREAKER. That tiebreaker is 'strength of opponent schedule', and LSU will have the highest. That's because we skipped Auburn, Kentucky, and Miss State this year... and they would be the bottom 3 teams in the conference.
We would play the winner of A&M-Texas, who would be the lone 7-1 team.

And again, the things needed are not that crazy. If we get to the end in shape, it all comes down to Ark-Mizzou. If Arkansas wins, we go. If Mizzou wins, Bama goes.

His press conferences are starting to create more questions than answers. Is he digging his hole deeper on purpose? Just a few questions I have, if a team can decide who they want to be over a week off and come out and dominate their next opponent, why can’t we, when it’s obvious to everyone watching we have no identity and are regressing every week? If he is content with 9 wins and a 10th over a pot out depleted mid tier opponent, why is he here, other than to cash his check? Why not answer any questions about us being pushed around every game? We have a big BK problem and Woodward should start getting heat for his 2nd dumpster fire ridiculous guaranteed contract.

Things Kelly can’t say but are true:

“Our recruiting has not been up to par - you can’t win the SEC if your only impact players come from the portal.”

“We were pre-season ranked #13 and experts predicted a 9-3 season or so. We knew we weren’t championship caliber. We just didn’t think we’d embarrass ourselves after a bye week, in front of the world, in front of 300 recruits like that.”

“Both Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels were merely ok as first year starters - they took off their fifth years”

I'm as much a posi-Tiger fan as there is ;been following our Tigers since 57.I'm Done with Kelly particularly after his last post Bama press conference.Kellys' theme through out was about "consistency",or a lack there of.His coaching is the epitome of Inconsistency!
Kelly has attitude of aragance IMO.He has all the anilitical answers BUT no coaching results ;Bama blow-out ,case in point.Going forward if LSU doesn't win out and get a bowl win I vote to fire Kelly at the end of the season.

If he calls this being prepared then I would hate to see what he considers unprepared.

The answer is….

LSU is a three loss a year team, except for one season every five or six years.
