It is funny, almost every analyst and commentator talk about his talent and being one of the best out there, but ole' Lester, he knows way more

Nuss is not the first player to have talent, and play poorly. You were sure he was the QB1 in the SEC back in September, and it is just fun to frick with you because in reality, he was QB7 or QB8.

Im sure you wont point out that in September, while you were hyping him as a heisman finalst, I was right there telling you what his weaknesses were, which of course, materialized throughout the season.

he is projected pretty high

Again, just having talent goes a long with in the draft. Just think if he actually played well, how high he would go?

This is always relative, because every single draft is different with QBs.

-In 2024, the 5th best QB went 1.10 overall (JJMcCathy).

-In 2022, a terrible QB draft, for example, the 5th best QB went 4.137 (Bailey Zappe)

"Nuss is the 5th rated QB" does not mean shite in a poor QB draft.

8th best in the conference. I guess when your life revolves around watching 15 year old on tape, you get a little emotional about this stuff.

Wide Receiver drop rate was 8th in the conference. 7 other QB's had it worse, even though im sure you will continue to blame the WRs.

Big Mouth Brian talks a lot of shite. Why believe any of this at this point?

We also HAD the top recruiting class too. Most of that is gone.

This is interesting to bring up. How many teams need QBs in the draft this year?

Same teams will need QB's again in 3 years if QB's keep coming out of college too early.

Teams always need QBs. But just because it is a weak QB draft does not mean they reach for guys that otherwise would not be drafted high.

and honestly it is not that weak. The top end is probably average. There is no depth to the class, but that does not usually matter anyway.

Adams was #6 before he got hurt. Chester started 12 games, he is a RS FR and you had some growing pains. I don't see how he does not start somewhere next year

I’m just saying I don’t think Center is his best position. I wouldn’t be shocked if he started at Guard with his experience and played better there.

Adams would start over Mubenga every day of the week and twice on Sunday if he’s healthy. He would be starting over Mubenga right now if he were healthy.

Bordelon is a Tackle only. He’s been playing as a blocking TE in spots this season. There’s no way in hell he ever plays Guard in the SEC.

Expect Chester to shift to Guard and some portal guys to bolster the interior. Echols or one of them will be the Center.

I do think Davis will start at RT, though.

Getting Guillory back also helps with DT depth. He would be crazy to leave after missing most of the season, but he could if he wanted to.

If you could buy Lester for what he’s worth and sell him for what he thinks he’s worth, you could single handedly fund LSU’s NIL collective

Because they need an entirely new OL on the interior. With Campbell/Jones potentially gone, that's likely a new OL chemistry wise. If they don't find help on the interior they will be in trouble next year unless you somehow see some huge progression on players.

Chester and Mulenga did quite well last night vs. a really good OU defense. They are RS and True freshman, respectively.

My view, and that is all it is, LSU is not going after 5 New OL n the portal. 2 at most if Jones returns at Tackle

By what metric? It was never the #1 class, even with BU committed.

I agree with 2 out of the portal being likely if Jones returns. If we have too many, some of these younger recruits will take off like Heard did. They have to see a path to the field to stay and some of them are definitely worth keeping.
